In the late 90s, a group of high school friends and I all developed a taste for modifying cars. It began by modifying what we had with the skills that we had, but in each of us it morphed into a desire to learn more so we can do more. I'm the kind of person that doesn't like to pay for things (like this website that I learned to build myself) so I learned to build engines, tune cars, wire cars, rebuild transmissions, etc, some of which was via professional-level training via EFI University, ASE course, and the autoshops that employed me. I quickly learned that the skills are separate, but they build on top of each other. Most of what I know has been poured into this site as well as my youtube channel. I stress the fact that I'm not an expert, we're always learning, I've just minimized my mistakes over the years and learned from them. I elaborate a bit more below on the types of information on this site, there is years of experience here that I'm adding that's not only mine, but it's also information I've gleaned from seasoned veterans I've known and worked with.
